I love jewelry and accessories and would always buy them. The only problem is I never wear them that often.
Then came a day when my sisters-in-laws decided to start a blogshop selling clothes. I was more interested in creating simple jewelry for sale. Sales was not very good but to be able to see my jewelry sold was an accomplishment.
In 2010, I created my first name charm necklace nearing to Christmas. I created this with wanting to give my love ones a more unique gift for Christmas. The name charm necklace was a hit. :)
As time passed, I started to venture into more complicated beading. I have a love for garden theme. Resin and clay flower beads, birds and butterflies started appearing in my jewelry.
In 2011, I started to move towards creating something simpler and minimal. Flowers are still my preferred theme. Simple colorful studs appeared in my collection. I have also started creating more items with pearls. Pearls are very versatile and I love coin pearls. :)
End of 2011, the birth of personalised medallion handstamped necklace took over the name charm necklace. I gotten hooked onto handstamping. It was very tedious to get a charm completed but when saw the dirty metal turned into shiny brass, it was all worth it.
In the middle of 2011, I introduced the use of 925 silver in my jewelry with the thought that a gift should be able to last a long time. Classic jewelry appeared with the use of pearls for a more classic and lasting look. Less tedious in work but still look exquisite in every item. My favorite item till now is still the personalised handstamped heart necklace. Simple for every day use and great as gifts for close friends and as bridesmaids gift.
In 2013, how are things gonna be different?
If you notice, I always come up with a new creation for Christmas season and this year shall be the same. This year's focus is more on bracelets. I will also be donating 20% of sale proceeds to support a cause, CARE Singapore, hoping to contribute my little means to children and youths-at-risk.
Please show your support by dropping by my store or just favourite my shop to keep track of my new bracelets coming up for these few weeks.
Merry Christmas and have a good holidays.
Cheers :)
